Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the semantic space of kinship terms in such languages as Russian, Chinese, Azerbaijani and Teleut. In this paper is analyzed the concept "mother" indetail as one of the main components of the kinship terms, as well as proverbs that are related to this concept, which are reflection of the national features of the perception of the world of different peoples.
