Abstract

Necrotizing fasciitis is characterised as a rapidly progressive inflammatory infection of the fascia, and thereby the secondary necrosis of the subcutaneous tissues. The speed of spread is directly proportional to the thickness of the subcutaneous layer. The frequency of necrotizing fasciitishas been on the rise because of an increase in immunocompromised patients with diabetes mellitus, cancer, alcoholism, vascular insufficiencies, organ transplants, HIV infection or neutropenia. So we aimed to highlight different clinical presentations of the necrotising fasciitis which could be seen in lower extremities more frequently.
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 8.0px Helvetica; color: #6b6a6a}
Özet
p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 8.0px Helvetica; color: #6b6a6a}
