Özet

Bu çalışmada, son yıllarda, yeni bir kavram olarak pazarlama literatüründe sıkça karşılaşmakta olduğunuz ‘marka kıskançlığı’ kavramının, elektronik ağızdan ağıza (e-WOM) iletişim ve premium fiyat ödeme istekliliği üzerindeki etkisinin ölçülmesi ve sosyal medya kullanımının aracı etkisinin ortaya koyulması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında; 390 tüketiciye yüz yüze anket yöntemi ile anket uygulanmış, elde edilen veriler YEM (Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi) ve Sobel testi gibi istatistiki analizlere tabi tutulmuştur. Ortaya çıkan bulgular; marka kıskançlığının e-WOM ve premium fiyat ödeme istekliliği üzerinde etkili olduğu sonucunu yansıtırken, sosyal medya kullanımının aracı bir etkisi olduğuna dair kanıtlara rastlanamamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda ‘marka kıskançlığı’ faktörünün e-WOM ve premium fiyat ödeme istekliliği üzerindeki etkisi kanıtlanmış böylelikle ‘marka kıskançlığı’ faktörünün firmalarca bir satış taktiği olarak kullanılabileceğine dair fikirler verilmiştir.
