ÖZETMeslekler arası eğitim sağlık ile ilgili eğitim alan öğrencilerin eğitiminde kullanılan bir yaklaşımdır. İki ya da daha fazla meslek grubunun işbirliğini geliştirmek, bakımın kalitesini artırmak ve birlikte öğrenmeyi ve çalışmayı sağlamak amacıyla uygulanmaktadır. Literatürde, meslekler arası eğitimin sağlık profesyonelleri arasında karşılıklı güven ve saygının geliştirilmesinde, yanlış ve basmakalıp önyargıların ve profesyoneller arasında olumsuz rekabetin giderilmesinde önemli olduğu vurgulanmaktadır. Meslekler arası eğitim ayrıca sağlık profesyonelleri arasında bilgi ve becerilerin paylaşılmasını, birbirlerini daha iyi anlamalarını ve meslekler arasında paylaşılan ortak değerler ve saygı oluşturulmasını sağlar. Ülkemizde mesleklerarası eğitimin henüz aktif olarak uygulanmamakta ancak uluslararası düzeyde bu uygulamanın önemine dikkat çekilmektedir.
