Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı iklim değişikliğinin afetler ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma hedefleriyle olan ilişkisini 2015-2030 Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedefleri çerçevesinde incelemek; iklim değişikliği ve onun tetiklediği afetler ile öncelikle mücadele etmeden sürdürülebilir kalkınma kanalıyla insani gelişmenin sağlanamayacağını göstermektir. Çalışmanın temel hipotezi iklim değişikliği ve iklim değişikliğinin neden olduğu afetlerin, sürdürülebilir kalkınma adına belirlenmiş hedeflerle ilişki içerisinde olduğu ve bu hedeflerin başarıya ulaşmasını engellediğidir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma metodu bağlamında; literatür taraması ve içerik analizleri yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonunda iklim değişikliği ve bunun neden olduğu afetlerin 2015-2030 Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Hedeflerinin başarıya ulaşmasını negatif etkilediği tespit edilmiştir.
