Abstract

Science is measured by using numbers today. However, it is possible to see that some factors that significantly affect the number of publications and citations in research performance evaluation processes are not taken into consideration. The main aim of this comment is to list the various factors that make “some” more visible than others in the scientific communities and to warn those who are concerned about such factors in research evaluations.
