Abstract

The textile sector is one of Turkey's most advanced sectors. Most of the workers in the textile industry are women. Ergonomics risks appear as an essential factor to be addressed in ensuring occupational safety and health in this area where the dependency on people continues, and labor-intensive production is present. The textile sector consists of cutting, sewing, ironing, quality control, printing, packaging, and shipping departments. Most of the women working in textiles are working as sewing machine operators.

Özet
