Abstract

The Republic of Cyprus established under the guarantorship of Turkey, Greece, and the United Kingdom by the Turkish and Greek Cypriots on 16th August 1960 unfortunately doesn’t long last due to the Greek Megali Idea obsession and Greek Cypriots’ Enosis dreams. The deep state structure named Akritas led by the Minister of the Domestic Affairs of the newly-founded state; Policarpos Yorgadjis pushes the button so as to make the island of Cyprus be a Greek island, and kick off all the Turkish Cypriots on the island on 21st December 1963. Then the Greek Cypriot assaults start known to be the Bloody Christmas of the Cyprus History on 24th December 1963, and the state collapses down. None of the Turkish Cypriots continue his official work, such a reason causes the Greek Cypriots to grasp all the state institutions, and get the black propaganda against the Turkish people via Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation. Turkish Cypriots starting to do something so as to improve their existence and legality on the island, to inform the world upon their situation, and keep in touch with them have their announcement on 25th December 1963 firstly by Bayrak Radio. On the other hand, they have managed to form another, nameless, and secret radio station as well in Nicosia Laleli Camii Sokağı. On the other hand, what they have to do just before the broadcasting and communication via Laleli Camii Sokağı and Bayrak Radio Station is to supply the necessary equipment urgently, and a special team of Turkish Resistance Organization named Y-I realizes an extremely dangerous operation called “Victoria/Bayrak” so as to get the above-mentioned equipment. This scientific study aims to focus on the abovementioned dangerous and unknown operation with pre and after process.
