Abstract

Preschool education institutions are the social spaces in which children first meet after the home and have a considerable amount of time. For this reason, the quality of life in these institutions is important. The quality of school life indicates an atmosphere in which individuals can be happy in every way. The main aim of quality studies in preschool education is to provide the best benefit for children. For this reason, in qualitative research, it is important to take the views of other stakeholders as well as to family and teacher opinions. The most important of these stakeholders are children, who are individuals who live directly in the preschool environment. Convergent parallel design was used for this mixed method study. The data of this study was gathered via “School/Calasroom Evaluation Survey and semistructured interview form that was formed in accordance with the opinions of field experts and the related literature. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the quantitative data obtained from research and the content analysis was used to analyze qualitative data. It is also noteworthy that children are emphasizing their interaction with their peers when they are asked to do things that make them happy and unhappy at school.
