Abstract

Aim: Glomus tumors are uncommon lesions especially found on fingertips. Mucinous change in these tumors is a rare phenomenon. In this report we aim to discuss some general and rare features of glomus tumors by a case presentation

Özet

Giriş ve amaç: Glomus tümörleri çoğunlukla parmak uçlarında rastlanan ve az görülen tümörlerden biridir. Bu tümörlerde müsinöz değişiklikler ise çok seyrek görülür. Sunulan olgunun ışığında, glomus tümörlerinin bazı genel ve az görülen histolojik özelliklerini yansıtmaya çalıştık. Bulgular: Bu çalışmamızda, 40 yaşında kadın bir hastanın sağ el orta parmağında görülen lezyonu Case report: Here we describe a 40-year-old female tanımladık. Hastada, çok az görülen müsinöz patient with glomus tumor on her right middle fingertip. It değişiklikler içeren glomus tümörünün bulunmasının yanı is interesting to note that, there was a history of trauma sıra, birkaç yıl önce bu bölgede bir travma öyküsünün bulunması da dikkat çekiciydi. Sonuç: Glomus tümörü olgularının, ileri tarihli çalışmalarda, kaynaklarda az rastlandığı bildirilen müsinöz değişiklikler ve travma öyküsü açısından değerlendirilmesi yararlı olacaktır
