Abstract

Fat embolism syndrome (FES) is a clinical condition that respiratory distress, loss of consciousness and petechial rash. The most commonly develops within 24-72 hours after fractures of long bones. Diagnosis is made according to clinical criteria. Treatment is symptomatic and supportive. In this case, we aimed to present the diagnostic and treatment of FES that is development due to broken.

Özet

Yağ embolisi sendromu (YES) solunum sıkıntısı, bilinç bulanıklığı ve peteşiyal döküntülerin görüldüğü klinik bir durumdur. En sık uzun kemik kırıklarını takiben 24-72 saat içinde gelişir. Tanı klinik kriterlere göre konulmaktadır. Tedavi semptomatik ve destekleyicidir. Biz bu olguda kırığa bağlı gelişen YES'nun tanı ve tedavi sürecini sunmayı amaçladık.
