Objectives: The purpose of this study was comparison of perinatal and obstetrics results between assisted reproductive technique (ART) and spontaneous twin pregnancies. Material and Methods: Between November 2012 and September 2014, records of 84 pregnant women who giving birth between 20th and 39th gestational week at two hospitals were evaluated retrospectively. Perinatal and obstetrics results were compared between ART and spontaneous twin pregnancies Results: Weight, height, head circumference and APGAR scores of newborns were found lower in ART twins than spontaneous twins (p<0.05). Maternal age, delivery mode, gestational week at birth and gender of newborns were similar in both groups. Conclusion: Weight and APGAR scores are lower in ART twin pregnancies

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı yardımcı üreme tekniği (YÜT) ile oluşan ve spontan ikiz gebeliklerin obstetrik ve perinatal sonuçlarının karşılaştırılmasıdır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Kasım 2012-Eylül 2014 tarihleri arasında iki hastanede 20-39 hafta aralığında doğumu gerçekleştirilen 84 gebenin dosyaları geriye dönük değerlendirildi. Yardımcı üreme teknikleri ile oluşan ikiz gebelikler (n=56) ile spontan ikiz gebeliğin (n=28) perinatal ve obstetrik sonuçları karşılaştırıldı. Bulgular: Yenidoğan boy, baş çevresi, kilo ve APGAR skorları ART ikiz gebelik grubunda daha düşük bulundu (p<0.05). Maternal yaş, doğum şekli, doğumda gebelik haftası ve yenidoğan cinsiyetleri açısından fark saptanmadı (p>0.05). Sonuç: Yenidoğan doğum ağırlığı ve APGAR skorları ART gebeliklerde daha düşük saptanmıştır.
