The basophils are definitely involved in immunopathologic responses to parasites, and in this respect, there may be a relationship between parasitic infections and developmental disorders. Hastalardan net bilgi alamadığımız durumlarda hematolojik parametreleri kullanmak kolay ve ucuz bir yöntemdir. Bazofiller parazitlere karşı immünopatolojik tepkilerde rol oynar ve bu açıdan paraziter enfeksiyonlar ile gelişimsel bozukluklar arasında bir ilişki olabilir. Bu çalışmada bazofil ve ilişkili parametrelerin olası kullanım alanlarını tartıştık.
