Comparing the logistics performance of the countries with other countries has become important as a result in which areas it should improve. The Logistics Performance Index (LPI), published every two years by the World Bank, has become an important data for countries to compare with each other. assessment of which contribute to the formation of the index and sub-headings provide information about the impact of Turkey's transportation type used in international trade. In this context, it is possible to talk about the existence of a close relationship between the titles in the DB Index reports and the investment environment. In our research, "Trading across borders", one of the titles of doing business index, will be examined and its relation in terms of international trade will be evaluated. This research used in Turkey's foreign trade transport types will be discussed which types of transportation will be important in terms of logistics and the effects of these types of transportation on LPI will be examined.

Ülkelerin lojistik performanslarını diğer ülkelerle kıyaslaması bunun sonucunda hangi alanlarda iyileştirme yapması önemli hale gelmiştir. Dünya Bankası tarafından iki senede bir yayınlanan Lojistik Performans Endeksi (LPI) ülkelerin birbirleriyle kıyas yapabilmesi için önemli bir veri haline gelmiştir. Endeksin alt başlıkları ile bu endeksin oluşumuna katkı verenlerin değerlendirmeleri Türkiye'nin uluslararası ticarette kullandığı taşıma türlerinin etkisi hakkında da bilgi vermektedir. Dünya Bankasının 2003 yılından beri her yıl yayınladığı iş yapma kolaylığı endeksi (Doing Business-DB) raporları da iş hayatını etkileyen düzenlemelerle ilgili sunduğu sayısal veriler yoluyla yatırım ortamının genel görünümü hakkında fikir sunmaktadır. Bu bağlamda İş Yapma Kolaylığı Endeksi raporlarında yer alan başlıklar ile yatırım ortamı arasında sıkı bir ilişkinin varlığından söz etmek mümkündür. Araştırmamızda bu başlıklardan "Sınır Ötesi Ticaret" başlığına değinerek uluslararası ticaret açısından ilişkisi değerlendirilecektir. Araştırmada Türkiye'nin dış ticaretinde kullandığı taşıma türleri ele alınacak, lojistik açısından hangi taşıma türlerinin önemli olduğu tespit edilecek ve bu taşıma türlerinin LPI'ye etkisi incelenecektir.
