Abstract

Fetal cystic hygroma is a manifestation of early lymphatic obstruction. Most of the cystic hygromas are localised in the neck, but sometimes they may be detected other rare locations include axilla, mediastinum, and limbs. There is a high prevalence of associated chromosomal abnormalities, Turner's syndrome being the most common. There are a lot of case reports and article about cystic higroma, but there are only a few case reports about the fetal axillary cystic hygroma. In this paper, we presented a case of fetal axillary cystic hygroma, which showed normal karyotype and diagnosed prenatal ultrasonographic evaluation in a 32 years old woman.
