Abstract
In this study on-the -job training requirement of the archivists who work in archives is analysed. The purpose of the study is to show why the archivists require on-the-job tranining,what are the dimension and features of this requirement and what kind of offering they would want. The research is done in five different archives by benefiting from the opinions of the graduates from information and document management department. The opinions of graduates are taken by questionnaires. In the research, important data abaout many topics were collected and it is seen that most archivists need on-the-job training.
Özet
Bu çalışmada arşivlerde görev yapan arşivcilerin hizmet içi eğitim gereksinimleri konusu incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı; arşivde görev alan arşivcilerimizin, hizmet içi eğitime neden gereksinim duyduklarını, bu gereksinim boyutunu, özelliklerini ve nasıl bir hizmet istediklerini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma 5 farklı arşivde Bilgi ve Belge Yönetimi Bölümü mezunlarının görüşlerinden yararlanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Mezunların görüşleri bir araştırma yöntemi olan anket çalışması ile aktarılmıştır. Araştırma içinde bir çok konuda önemli verilere erişilmiştir ve arşivcilerimizin büyük bir bölümünün hizmet içi eğitime gereksinim duydukları anlaşılmaktadır.
