⚡ TL;DR(Too Long; Didn't Read)

The morphological features of the species were investigated with the pyridinated silver carbonate impregnation and silver nitrate impregnation techniques at the level of light microscopy. Results: The morphological features of Bundleia spp. were found to be similar to the original descriptions, and it was detected that ontogenesis in the Bundleia genus exhibited suitability with other ciliate species in the Entodiniomorphida order. Conclusion: We conclude that the geographical variation and feeding habits of host animals are important for evaluating the biometric data of species.

Özet

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı İzmir civarında yaşayan 15 Rahvan atı ve 15 yarış atının arka bağırsağında bulunan Bundleia cinsine dahil 7 endokommensal siliyat, B. (s. str.) postciliata, B. (s. str.) piriformis, B. (s. str.) nana, B. (C.) elongata, B. (C.) triangularis, B. (F.) dolichosoma, B. (F.) inflata'nın morfolojik özellikleri hakkında bilgi vermek ve Bundleia cinsinde ontogenezi araştırmaktır.Yöntemler: Otuz attan elde edilen örnekler %10'luk formalinle tespit edildikten sonra, türlerin morfolojik özellikleri piridinli gümüş karbonat ve gümüş nitrat empregnasyon teknikleriyle ışık mikroskobu düzeyinde çalışılmıştır.Bulgular: Bundleia cinsi türlerinin morfolojik özellikleri orijinal tanımlamalarda verilenlere benzer bulunmuştur ve Bundleia cinsindeki ontogenezin Entodiniomorphida ordosundaki diğer siliyat türleriyle uygunluk gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir.Sonuç: Türlerin biyometrik verilerinin değerlendirilmesinde konak hayvanların beslenme alışkanlıklarının ve coğrafi varyasyonlarının önemli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
