Abstract

Objective: We investigated the prevalance of extrauterine grosses in ART cycles. Institution: Ege University Family Planning, Infertility Research and Treatment Center, Izmir, Turkey. Materials And Methods: In this retrospective study, the files of the patients who had undergone ARI treatment at Ege University Familly Planning, Infertility Research and Treatment Center from January of 1999 to December 2001 were detected and the prevalance of extrauterin grosses investigated. Results: There were 12 extrauterine grosses between 452 clinic pregnancies. One of the extrauterine grosses' was a tubal twin pregnancy while one other was a heterotopic and the others were located on tubes. The prevalance of extrauterin grosses was 2.65%. Conclusion: We found that the prevalance of extrauterine grosses is higher in ART cycles than normal population.

Özet

Amaç: Asiste reprodüktif tekniklerin uygulandığı hastalarda meydana gelen ekstrauterin yerleşimli groses sıklığı araştırıldı. Yer: Ege Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü Aile Planlaması, Kısırlık Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi, izmir, Türkiye. Materyal ve Metod: Ocak 1999-2001 Aralık tarihleri arasında Ege Üniversitesi Aile Planlaması Kısırlık Araştırma ve Uygulama. Merkezinde asiste reprodüktif teknik uygulamalarında tespit edilen klinik gebelikler incelenerek ekstrauterin groses prevalansı değerlendirildi. Bulgular: 452 klinik gebelik arasında 12 ekstrauterin grosses tespit edildi. Bunlardan l'i tubal ikiz gebelik, l 'i heterotopik gebelik, 10 tanesi ise tubal lokalizasyonlıı tekiz ekstrauterin gebelik olarak belirlendi.
