Abstract
The heat and humidity defined as the air temperature should be kept within certain limits in order to provide a healthy environment for the workers. In case of these conditions are not provided, it is observed that the health of the workers are deteriorated, the work efficiency is decreased and accidents happen very frequently. Therefore, the temperature and the humidity of mine environment should be controlled very effectively. In this study, the equipments and the methods used to measure the temperature are explained. Determination of the amount of relative and absolute humidity together with heat content of mine environment are described.

Endüstride çalışanlara sağlıklı bir çalışma ortamı sunabilmek için, havanın ısısı olarak tariflenen sıcaklık ve nem'in belirli sınırlar içinde tutulması gerekir. Bunun sağlanamaması durumunda; işçilerin sık sık hastalandığı, çalışma veriminin düştü ğü, iş kazalarının arttığı gözlenmiştir. Belirtilen nedenlerle, ocak havasının sıcaklı ğının ve içerdiği nem miktarının etkin bir şekilde kontrolü gerekir. Bu çalışmada, ocak havasının sıcaklığının ölçülmesinde kullanılan aletler ve ölçmelerin nasıl yapıldığı tanıtılmıştır. Ayrıca, havadaki bağıl ve mutlak nem miktarlarının ve havanın ısı içeriğinin ne şekilde belirlendiği açıklanmıştır.
