Zonguldak Taşkömür Havzasında yer alan Karadon, Üzülmez ve Kozlu İşletmelerinde çalışılmakta olan 97 ayak, uzunluk, eğim, işletme yöntemi, kazı, tahkimat ve taşıma araçları yönünden incelenerek sınıflandırılmıştır. Ayrıca, havzada çalışan ayakların durumlarıyla ilgili olarak genel sonuçlara varılmıştır.
