One of the complicaton is the massive sclerosis, seen around the disks surrounded by vertebral corpus. These lesions are called Andersson lesions or spondylodiscitis. Aksiyel eklemlerin ve özellikle her iki sakroiliak eklemin kronik enflamatuar eklem hastalığı olan Ankilozan Spondilit (AS), spinal komplikaşyonlarla seyredebilir. Bu komplikasyonlardan biri, diski çevreleyen vertebra cisimlerinin erozif sklerotik lezyonudur ki bu spondilodiskit veya Andersson lezyonu olarak adlandırılır.
