Abstract
In this paper bucket penetration mechanism of dragline excavator at the excavation bench was investigated. In dragline excavators, penetration is achieved by the tare weight of the bucket. Some factors effecting bucket penetration like bucket penetration angle, bucket weight, bucket teeth, excavation bench slope angle were discussed. Bucket penetration forces, specific bucket penetration forces based on length of bucket lip, and on total length of teeth lip are given for some TKİ draglines as examples

Bu yazıda dragline yerkazarı kepçesinin kazı basamağındaki kayaca saplanış mekanizması incelenmiştir. Dragline yerkazarında , kepçe kendi ağırlığı ile malzemeye saplanmaktadır. Kepçe saplanış açısı, kepçe ağırlığı, kepçe dişleri, kazı basamağı eğim açısı gibi kepçe saplanışına etki eden değiştirgenler tartışılmıştır. Örnek olarak, bazı TKİ dragline yerkazarlarının saplanış kuvvetleri, kepçe ağzı ve kepçe dişine göre hesaplanan özgül kepçe saplanış kuvvetleri verilmiştir
