This study gives the pollen morphologies of such endemic plant species in Turkey as Alcea apterocarpa (Frenzl) Boiss, (Malvaceae), Moltkia aurea Boiss, (Boraginaceae), Linum hirsutum L. subsp. anatolicum (Boiss), Hayek var. anatolicum (Linaceae), Convolvulus galaticus Rostan ex choisy, (Convolvulaceae) as examined by using light microscope (LM) and scanning electronic microscope (SEM). The total protein assessment regarding each species was conducted by the Lowry method. Trace elements were assessed by the Hewlett Packard instrument ICP-MS model 1500.

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye'de yetişen Alcea apterocarpa (Frenzl) Boiss, (Malvaceae), Moltkia aurea Boiss, (Boraginaceae), Linum hirsutum L. subsp. anatolicum (Boiss), Hayek var. anatolicum (Linaceae), Convolvulus galaticus Rostan ex choisy, (Convölvulaceae), gibi endemik türlerin polen morfolojisi ışık mikroskobu (LM) ve tarayıcı elektron mikroskobu (SEM) yöntemleriyle incelenmiştir. Türlerden her birinin toplam proteini Lowry yöntemine göre yapılmış, iz elementler ise Hewlett Packard 1500 model ICP-MS aygıtı ile belirlenmiştir.
