Abstract

Abdominal wall remains a major mechanical barrier in blunt abdominal trauma. In patients suffering from abdominal wall hernia increase in bowel pressure and bulging of intestines into hernial sac becomes more vulnerable to traumas. We have presented two cases admitted as acute abdomen after a blunt trauma to inguinal hernia sac that caused small bowel injury.

Özet

Künt karın travmalarında en önemli mekanik bariyer ön karın duvarıdır. Karın ön duvarında fıtığı olan hastalarda karın içi basıncın artması sonucu barsaklar fıtık kesesi içine doğru hareket eder ve travmalara daha açık hale gelirler. Biz de inguinal herni kesesi üzerine künt travma sonrası akut karın nedeni ile yatırılan ve ince barsak yaralanması çıkan iki olgumuzu inceledik.
