Abstract

Theory of Didactical Situations in Mathematics which was developed under the leadership of Guy Brousseau is one of the theories within the didactic research area. Adidactic situation has an important place in this theory. Such a situation includes devolution – action – formulation – validation and institutionalization phases. This study aimed to introduce experiences occurred in each of these. Two Adidactic situations were developed for Geometry lesson about Right Prism and Pyramids subject. The study was conducted with 49, 9th grade students. In line with the aim, group workings were set out and data were collected by unstructured observations. Obtained data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and occurred experiences were described phase by phase. One of the most important conclusion of the study is that students felt themselves as a scientist at he action and formulation phases.
