Abstract

The small bones encountered at lateral of the elbow joint in one Great Dane and two Kangal (Anatolian shepherd dog), brought to clinic with complaint of lameness, were evaluated whether they are normal anatomical formation or a lesion relating to elbow joint. After macroscopic and microscopic investigation of the operatively removed bones, it is determined that; these bones have normal bone structure and Ihe lameness arise from a different cause of orthopaedic problem, which is produce arthrosis in the elbow joint.
