The aim of this study is to research how Turkish MPs evaluate different dimensions of nationality and other political globalization theses. Özet
Ulus-devlet, ulusal kimlik, ulusal çıkarlar gibi ulusallığın farklı boyutları, kuramsal ve pratik yansımaları ile, küreselleşme sürecinde, başka ülkelerde olduğu gibi Türkiye’de tartışılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, siyasal küreselleşme tartışmaları içerisinde değerlendirilebilecek yukarıdaki kavramların ve bu bağlamda ileri sürülen kimi tezlerin, Türkiye’de siyasetin öncelikli ve belirleyici konumu nedeniyle, temel siyasa yapıcı organ olan TBMM üyelerince nasıl değerlendirildiği araştırılmaktadır. Ulus-devletin geleceği, küreselleşmenin Türkiye için ifade ettiği anlam, insan hakları, inanç özgürlüğü, bireylerin devletler karşısında daha da güçlenmesi, küreselleşme sürecinde Türkiye’de demokrasi standardının yükselmekte olduğu gibi alanlarda verilen tepkilerin ve yaklaşımların homojen olmadığı, milletvekillerinin partilerine ve kimliklerine göre değiştiği söylenebilir.
