In thyroid follicular carcinoma, distant metastasis occurs frequently. Dis- tant metastases are commonly seen in the lungs, bones, liver and brain. Tiroid folliküler karsinomu sıklıkla uzak metastaz yapar. Uzak metastaz en sık akciğer, kemikler, karaciğer ve beyne olmaktadır. Tiroid folliküler karsinomunun mandibula metastazı çok nadirdir.
