Abstract

Osteokondromas are the most common benign bone tumors. Most frequently, they are located on metaphyseal regions of long bones, femur, proximal humerus and proximal tibia and tendon attachment sites. However, their locations on foot and hand are rarely seen. This tumor is usually asymptomatic and detected incidentally on radiographs of the distal phalanx of the great toe. We wanted to share the data related to this rarely seen tumor localization which can be easily overlooked.
