Abstract

Thoracoscopic thoracal sympathectomy (TTS) is a surgicalprocedure that have been used in the treatment of upper extremityand head diseases which is associated with sympatheticsystem. Nowadays it is mostly used in the treatment of primaryhyperhidrosis. Nonetheless, though it is less effective, it is alsoused in Raynaud's syndrome, Buerger disease, refractor anginaand long QT syndrome In our department, between March2012, and March 2013, 29 TTS operations were performed on15 patients. The patients were analyzed retrospectively andevaluated with respect to surgical procedure, complications, length of hospital stay and surgical success.
