Giant ovarian cyst causing an acute abdomenThough ovarian cysts are frequently seen in women, giant ovarian cysts are extremely referans aralığıe. We have reported a 84 year-old female patient who had presented to our clinic with symptoms of acute abdomen. We though that the patient has got mesenteric cysts and operated in our clinic. We have tried to present characteristics of giant over cysts, their diagnosis and treatment.

Özet

Over kisti kadınlarda sıklıkla görülmesine karşın dev over kistleri çok ender görülmektedir. Bu olgu sunumunda 84 yaşında akut batın bulgularıyla kliniğimize başvuran kadın hastayı sunduk. Hastadaki kistin mezenter kisti olduğu düşünülerek kliniğimizde ameliyat edilmiştir. Olgumuz eşliğinde dev over kistlerinin özelliklerini, tanı ve tedavi yöntemlerini ortaya koymaya çalıştık.
