Osteopoikilosis: A case reportOsteopoikilosis is an uncommon osteosclerotic bone dysplasia. Usually, it is an asymptomatic disease and the diagnosis is made incidentally by imaging techniques which show multiple, small, well defined, ovoid or circular sclerotic lesions. Herein we report a case presenting with low back pain whose radiologic investigation revealed typical osteopoikilotic lesions and discuss the case in the light of the literature findings.

Osteopoikilozis ender bir osteosklerotik kemik displazisidir. Genellikle asemptomatik bir hastalıktır ve teşhis rastlantıen iskelet sistemi radyografilerinde görülen çok sayıda, küçük, sınırları belirgin, ovoid ya da yuvarlak şekilli sklerotik alanların görülmesi ile konulur. Radyolojik görünüm metastatik kemik lezyonlarını andırabilir. Bu makalede bel ağrısı yakınmaiyle başvuran ve radyolojik incelemelerinde tipik osteopoikilozis tutulumu saptanan bir olgu sunulmuş ve literatür eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
