Abstract
Objective: In recent years, noninvasive tests have been developed by chronic hepatitis B patients, which may be an alternative to liver biopsy for predict histology. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between the stage of fibrosis in liver biopsy and basic serum biochemical parameters of HbeAg negative chronic hepatitis B patients. Materials and Methods: The patients who were diagnosed as chronic hepatitis B,are older than 18, HbeAg negative, with HBV DNA level >2000 IU/mL, underwent liver biopsy and under follow up at infectious diseases department of our hospital from August 01, 2012 to August 31, 2019 were included in this study. Demographic characteristics and laboratory results were collected from patient files retrospectively. Repetitive patients were excluded. The patients were divided into three groups as mild fibrosis (F≤2), moderate fibrosis (F3-4) and cirrhosis (F5-6) according to Ishak fibrosis score. The patients with fibrosis score 5-6 were excluded due to inadequate number of the patients. Results: In this study, 242 patients were enrolled. Number of male were 154 (63.6%) and female were 88 (36.4%) with a mean age of 40.84±11.06. Fibrosis score was higher in male and older age. Amaç: Kronik hepatit B hastalarında, son yıllarda karaciğer histolojisini öngörmek için karaciğerbiyopsisine alternatif olabileceği düşünülen noninvazif testler ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışma ileHBeAg negatif kronik hepatit B hastalarının karaciğer biyopsisindeki fibrozisin derecesi ile temelserum biyokimyasal parametreleri arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amaçlandı.Gereç ve Yöntemler: Çalışmaya, kronik hepatit B tanısı ile hastanemiz Enfeksiyon HastalıklarıKliniği’nde 01 Ağustos 2012 ile 31 Ağustos 2019 tarihleri arasında takip edilen 18 yaş üzeri, HBeAgnegatif ve HBV-DNA düzeyi >2000 IU/mL olup karaciğer biyopsisi yapılmış hastalar dahil edildi.Hasta dosyaları taranarak bireylerin demografik özellikleri, laboratuvar sonuçları kaydedildi vetekrarlayan hastalar değerlendirmeye alınmadı. Hastalar Ishak fibrozis skoruna göre gruplandı vehafif fibrozis (F≤2), orta derecede fibrozis (F3-4), siroz (F5-6) olanlar şeklinde üç gruba ayrıldı.Fibrozis skoru 5-6 olanlar sayı azlığı nedeniyle çalışma dışı bırakıldı.Bulgular: Çalışmaya 242 hasta alındı.
