Abstract

In this study, 0, 75, 150 and 225 kg/tree doses of organic fertilizer was applied to table olive trees (Olea europaea L.). In the study, cattle manure was used as organic fertilizer. The trial was conducted according to the design of random blocks in five replications, for two years, in Odemis region. In the study, the effects of increasing organic fertilizer doses on the yield and Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu and B contents in leaves, fruit flesh and seeds of olives were investigated. Especially in poor organic matter, sandy loamy texture and moderate acid soils, applications of organic fertilizer have an important effect on the nutrition of olives and increase micro element content in leaves. In addition, Fe, Mn, Cu, B content of fruit flesh; Whereas Zn, Cu, B content of seeds influenced significantly. In the study, Mn content of leaves, Fe content of fruit flesh changed significantly according to years. Applications of organic fertilizer significantly increased fruit yield compared to control. In control parcels, 24.70 kg/tree olive yield was obtained, and 87 kg/tree olive yield was found with application of organic fertilizer at 225 kg/tree dose. The highest yield and micro element content were obtained with the application of 225 kg/tree which is generally the highest application dose.
