Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional state of Amasya grape grown in Çanakkale. The results obtained from soil and leaf analysis could be summarized as follows: 75 % of the soils showed neutral and light acid pH values. All of the soils had low levels of organic matter content. Available phosphorous content was at low level in 57.5% and at medium level in 37.5%, exchangeable potassium was sufficient in 67.5% of the soils. Available iron content was at insufficient level in 60%, available manganese was at insufficient level in 42.5%, available zinc was at insufficient level 10%, available copper contents were sufficient in all of the soils. Leaf blades analysis indicated that 15%, 25% and 15% of the samples had insufficient levels of nitrogen, available phosphorus, available zinc, respectively. There were no nutritional problems in leaf blades with respect to potassium, calcium, iron and manganese levels. the results of petioles analysis showed that all of the samples had sufficient levels of zinc. Available copper was insufficient in 15% of the petioles. With respect to magnesium, 10% of the leaf blades samples and the petioles samples had insufficient levels. Significant relationships were found among the soil properties, nutrient element contents of leaf blades and petioles.
