Abstract

The research area is located in Kahramanmaraş province. In this study, during the period 1995-1997, by evaluating the collected 1336 plant specimens, 67 families, 287 genera, 524 species, 6 subspecies and 6 varieties were identified. The total number of taxa is 534 and the number of endemic plants is 68 (12.7%). The distribution rates of the taxa into phytogeographical regions are as follows: Mediterranean elements 141 (26.4%), Irano-Turanian elements 86 (16.1%) and Euro-Siberian elements 26 (4.8%).

Araştırma alanı Kahramanmaraş ilinde yer alır. Bu çalışmada, 1995-1997 yıllarında toplanan 1336 bitki örneğinin değerlendirilmesi ile 67 familya, 287 cins, 524 tür, 8 alttür ve 6 varyete tespit edilmiştir. Toplam takson sayısı 534 dür. Endemik bitkilerin sayısı 68 (%12,7)'dir. Taksonların fitocoğrafik bölgelere dağılım oranları şu şekildedir: Akdeniz elementleri 141 (%26,4), İran-Turan elementleri 86 (%16,1), Avrupa-Sibirya elementleri 26 (%4,8).
