Özet
Amaç: Bu çalışmada total kalça artroplastisi (TKA) geçirmiş obez ve obez olmayan hastaların ameliyat sonrası erken dönem fonksiyonel aktiviteleri karşılaştırıldı.Hastalar ve yöntemler: Çalışmaya koksartroz nedeni ile ameliyat edilen 45 hasta (17 erkek, 28 kadın; ort. yaş 64.6±8.6 yıl; dağılım 45-78 yıl) dahil edildi. Hastalar ameliyat öncesi vücut kütle indekslerine (VKİ) göre obez (VKİ >30 kg/m2, n=21) ve obez olmayan (VKİ 0.05).Sonuç: Çalışma bulgularımıza göre, TKA geçirmiş hastalarda obezitenin ameliyat sonrası erken dönemde fonksiyonel aktiviteler üzerinde herhangi bir etkisi yoktur
