Abstract

Hemangioma of the small bowel is very rare in children and diagnosis can be very difficult. We report a case of a 14-year-old boy with small bowel hemangioma that was implicated as the cause of recurrent severe iron deficiency anemia and intussusception. Abdominal ultrasonography and barium small bowel series had failed to establish the diagnosis which was made at operation.

Özet

Çocuklarda ince bağırsak hemanjiomları çok seyrek görülür ve tanısını koymak çok zor olabilir. Bu makalede tekrarlayan ağır demir eksikliği anemisi ve invajinasyona neden olan ince bağırsak hemanjiomlu 14 yaşında bir erkek vaka sunulmuştur. Abdominal ultrasonografi ve baryumlu ince barsak grafisi ile konulamayan tanı operasyon sırasında konulabilmiştir.
