Abstract

A 17 years old male was admitted to our clinic with abdominal pain, distention and bilious vomiting. A palpable mass was presented at the left upper quadrant and multiple pigment spots were obvious at the buccal mucosa. We have encountered multiple air-fluid levels at the abdominal x-ray studies and abdominal computerized scans revealed a colo-colic intussusception and two more intussusception sites at the ileum proximal to ileocecal valve. In the patient's past history there are two more operations because of intussusception, at the age of 10 years. During these operations multiple polyps were noted and desinvagination was performed. The polyps were excised by the colotomy. The histopathological result revealed, Peutz -Jeghers syndrome. The patient had diagnostic laparotomy and limited colon resection. Post-operative early period of the patient was uneventful.
