The improvement in travel facilities, competitive price practices and the difference in quality between destinations have also been the driving force in this demand. Özet
Sağlık turizmi; tedavi olmayı amaçlayan hastaların yanı sıra oluşabilecek hastalıkları önlemek isteyenlerin, estetik kaygısı olanların, ruhsal denge arayanların ve hatta bütün bunları kültür gezisi çerçevesinde gerçekleştirmek isteyenlerin talepte bulunduğu bir sektör haline gelmiştir. Seyahat imkanlarının iyileşmesi, rekabetçi fiyat uygulamaları ve destinasyonlar arası kalite farkı da bu talebin artışında yönlendirici olmuştur. Bu çalışmada sağlık turizmi çeşitli uygulamaları açısından tasvir edilirken, Türkiye’nin sağlık turizmi pastasındaki payını artırma hedefi doğrultusunda mevcut durumu ve geleceği açısından değerlendirmelerde bulunulmuştur.
