Abstract

Juvenile dermatomyositis is a multisystemic autoimmunedisease with uncertain etiology. Both innate immunity andadaptive immunity play a role on the pathogenesis of thedisease. Selective immunoglobulin A deficiency is the mostcommon primary immunodeficiency. Association betweenimmunoglobulin A deficiency and autoimmune diseasesincluding few juvenile dermatomyositis patients have beenreported. A previously healthy 15-year old girl wasdiagnosed with juvenile dermatomyositis according toBohan and Peter criteria and selective immunoglobulin Adeficiency due to the low level of immunoglobulin A (

Selektif immünglobulin A eksikliği en sık görülen primer immün yetmezliktir.
