Abstract
Background and Observation.- Extragenital -endometriosis is a benign disease. The literature is-limited to the standardization of the therapeutic reg¬imens. The probability of extragenital endometriosis must be excluded on the evaluation of any tumoral lesion around the umblicus and abdominal scars. Thus, in connection with a case report in our clinic -an umblical endometriosis-, we aimed to summarize the current approach to this phenomenon.
