Abstract

The dispute over maritime jurisdiction in the Eastern Mediterranean continues with increasing tension. While the Cyprus dispute is continuing, there is no negotiation title for maritime jurisdictions. However, the Cyprus issue has been moved to the seas. In fact, on the island, both sides have tried to show that they have sovereign rights in the maritime zones with their own domestic law practices. In this context, the study discusses the deep differences and practices of the Parties on the subject of the law of sea, particulary in terms of delimitation.
