Abstract

Suheyl Ünver is a personality devoted his life to revelation and preservation of our culture and civilization. Therefore, he noted down whatever he saw and heard while exploring Anatolian territory. He compiled books from these notes which were taken about the cities that had historical background. With his diligence and determination, the number of books reached to the thousands. One of these belonged to Amasya. In this study, Suheyl Ünver’s notes in Amasya notebooks which were mostly written in Ottoman Handwriting translated into modern Turkish. In addition, required foot notes were given if necessary.
