Abstract

Three hepatic veins located between liver segments. These veins help to seperate the lobes and segments of the liver. The portal vein or hepatic portal vein visualized in the deep inspiration in left position as a perpendicular to the right costal margin is formed by the superior mesenteric vein and splenic vein. Multidetector computerized tomografi (MDCT) gives good results in imaging of portal and hepatic vein structures. Abdomen computerized tomografi (CT) and laboratory examination were performed to subjects having macroscopic hematuria. In a result of CT, it was seen that he had portal venous system variation. In this case, it was aimed to investigate different type of portal venous system variation, which is determined as different from other portal venous system variation classifications.
