Abstract

An ureterocele is a cystic dilatation of the distal part of the ureter. Eighty percent of ureteroceles are seen in the ureter draining the upper pole of a complete ureteral duplication. Generally, the ureter with ureterocele is affected by obstruction, while the other ureter is affected by vesicoureteral reflux. In this report, we present a case that is rarely encountered in the literature, with a duplicated system having a giant ureterocele and a megaureter, and reflux to the same ureter.

Özet

Üreterosel üreterin distal kısmının kistik dilatasyonudur. Üreterosellerin % 80’i komplet üreter duplikasyonunda üst polü drene eden üreterde görülür.
