Abstract

The purpose of the study was to evaluate the esthetic performance of direct composite veneer restorations for one year. Twenty-eight patients (twelve men, sixteen women) were participated in this study. A total of 86 restorations were made by same dentist by using Valux Plus composite resin (3M Dental Products, St Paul, USA). The restorations were finished and polished according to the manufacturer's directions. The restorations were evaluated at baseline, and after 1,3,6 months and one year later by three dentists using the United States Public Service (USPHS) criteria. The obtained data were statistically analyzed using the Khi-Square test and Fisher's Exact Test. The results showed the presence of statistically significant differences among groups (P
