Abstract

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the degree of direct light transmittance (%T) of various types of porcelains and cured composite samples by using different curing units. A2 shade samples were prepared cylindrically type with 1 and 2 mm thickness and 1 cm diameter. Incident and transmitted light intensities of specimens were measured using a Kerr Radiometer. Then direct light transmittances (%T) of specimens were calculated. Results were evaluated statistically using ANOVA and Duncan Tests. These results showed the presence of statistically significant differences among the groups (P
