Abstract

A 13-year-old girl underwent surgical treatment for cor triatriatum sinister and a secundum atrial septal defect that presented with tachycardia and exercise intolerance. The diagnosis was made by echocardiography. Separation on the diaphragmatic membrane was 0.4 cm. The anomaly was accompanied by a secundum atrial septal defect and pulmonary hypertension. The fibromuscular membrane was resected via a left atriotomy and the atrial septal defect was primarily closed. The patient was discharged on the sixth postoperative day without any complications.

Özet

Taşikardi ve egzersiz intoleransıyla ortaya çıkan kor triatriatum sinistrum ve sekundum atriyal septal defekt (ASD) saptanan 13 yaşındaki bir kız hasta cerrahi olarak tedavi edildi. Tanısı ekokardiyografiyle konan hastada diyafragmatik membran üzerindeki açıklık 0.4 cm idi. Anomaliye sekundum ASD ve pulmoner hipertansiyon eşlik ediyordu. Ameliyatta sol atriyotomi yoluyla fibromusküler membran rezeke edildi. Atriyal septal defekt primer olarak kapatıldı. Hasta ameliyat sonrası altıncı günde sorunsuz olarak taburcu edildi.
