Abstract
Transition process from IPv4 to IPv6 protocol is becoming a very popular study area which recently many developed countries are deeply considered researching on. It is crucial to decide a transition method which provides the most secure platform and minimizes the transition cost. In this study, current IT infrastructure, software, hardware and trained personal that is ready for IPv6 transition process of Turkey is reviewed based on a series of questionnaires. Many public institutes and universities participated to the questionnaires. Özet
IPv4 protokolünden IPv6 protokolüne geçiş süreci, son zamanlarda birçok gelişmiş ülkenin üzerinde çalışma yaptığı güncel bir konu halini almıştır. Ülkeler için en güvenli ve toplam maliyeti azami seviyede tutacak bir geçiş yönteminin seçilmesi çok kritik bir önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'nin mevcut bilişim altyapısı, IPv6 geçişine hazır yazılım, donanım ve eğitilmiş personel durumu ve geçiş maliyetinin analizlerinin yapılabilmesi çeşitli anketlerle birçok yönden incelenmiştir. Anketlere birçok kamu kurumu ve üniversiteler katılmıştır. Anketlerin analizi sonucunda, Türkiye'nin mevcut bilişim kaynaklarının IPv6 protokolüne ne kadar hazır olduğu değerlendirilmiş ve tahmini geçiş maliyetinin 1023289417,51 TL olacağı belirlenmiştir.
